If you’re a fan of trying new foods or experiencing new cultural dishes, then you’re in luck. A taste of classic Korean street-food is coming to Adelaide with Plus 82’s Korean Street Food Festival.
Plus 82 is a collection of Korean-style restaurants, with the shared goal of bringing traditional Korean dining to SA locals. Each restaurant has a different focus and speciality in what they serve, allowing for a wide range of options for customers with the Street Food Festival fusing the best of them together.
Running from midday to 3pm on the 21st of August, this street-food festival is an opportunity for people to experience authentic Korean street food and drink. Performances and entertainment will be going on in the background, allowing guests to enjoy their meal with some spectacle.
Pocha is the central destination for Korean street food in Adelaide. They have the largest variety on offer, with lunch, dinner and vegan/gluten free menus. Pocha’s aim is to create traditional Korean flavours and serve them in a natural and rustic way.
Pocha is only one of four sister locations under the Plus 82 banner. GoGi is the go-to location for Korean barbecue, with a flexible menu that allows for all tastes to be catered for. Beef and pork cooked using traditional Korean techniques take centre stage here.
On the other hand, MiMi specialises in much larger dishes intended to be shared amongst people, with recipes that have been adapted from traditional Korean culture. Finally, Lite rounds out the selection with homemade organic options, cooked as naturally as possible.
