Norwood’s favourite wine warehouse, Lambrook Wines, is opening its doors this Sunday for another day filled with food, entertainment, and beveraginos from Lambrook’s funky container bar, but with one difference… $1 dumplings!
Wear your stretchy pants, because you’ll be eating your body weight in the delicious, doughy bundles that have become a bit of a signature dish for Fine & Fettle.
With so many scrumptious flavour combinations to choose from – from tofu & cabbage and pork & chive, to steamed prawn, and steamed scallop – it’ll be tricky to tire from the $1 delights.
Fine & Fettle has become known for their dumplings, hosting $1 Dumpling Discos at their Stephney venue every 4-6 weeks. Now, the Fine & Fettle crew is bringing the fun vibes to Norwood.
With tickets set at $10 per person, you and your mates will be able to score a free drink on arrival and a supreme spot in the warehouse to witness the live musical talents of Nick Deegan.
Nick Deegan – the former front man for indie/pop bands ‘Foreshore’ and ‘Galleon’ – has supported musical heavyweights like INXS and Nickelback and will undoubtedly put on a good show as you wine and dumpling-dine the day away.
The $1 Dumpling Day forms part of Lambrook Wines’ Stellar Sundays pop up series that first kicked off last month. Stellar Sundays takes its name from the venue’s striking mural which is displayed prominently in the centre of the wine warehouse.
If you haven’t already seen it on your socials, the mural depicts a young woman painted in pink, purples, and blues, with sparkles and flowers in her dark curly hair. Painted by local Adelaide Street Artist Jack Fran, the ‘wow factor’ artwork is not easily forgotten and well worth visiting should you find yourself in Norwood this Sunday.
