Adelaide Fringe kicks off today in a big way, and as it does every year, it will ensure you’re pulled to every corner of the city, in search of the best shows, pop up bars, street parties, and surprises. Getting around has always been the challenge – with the tram, Uber, Ola, and those strange bike carriages, peddled by foreign backpackers, being the favoured forms of transport – until now. Please welcome Lime to the stage.
Lime has launched in Adelaide with a fleet of electric scooters, which, today, will only set you back $1 for hire. Then it’s charged on a time basis from there.
They first few are starting to appear in Victoria Square. You can also download the Lime app and use this promo code “RCNFRNB” link for free rides. https://web-production.lime.bike/referral/RCNFRNB
Just remember, we don’t want a repeat of the electric bike debacle, so please return leave them somewhere sensible when you’re done so that we can all keep using them!
And to stay safe, the South Australian Police have posted some guidelines. You can find them below.
