If you’re hungry for something new this November, you’re in luck! Adelaide’s food scene is serving up a feast of flavour this month, with everything from CBD dumpling markets and viral pop-up dinners to Singaporean icons taking over local kitchens and multicultural festivals filling the streets with spice and sound. There’s no shortage of delicious ways to eat your way through the month, so if you’re looking to get out and indulge and the very best food and drink, here’s ten of our top picks.

Lucky Dumpling Market | Until Nov 9

The Lucky Dumpling Market is back! Now in its ninth year, the festival has once again transformed Elder Park into an epic open-air food playground of all things sizzling satay, fresh bao, and steamy dumplings. Running until November 9th, the market is an iconic fixture of Adelaide’s spring calendar and one of the city’s most-loved events.

Hongdae in Adelaide | Nov 1

Hongdae in Adelaide, the ultimate Korean street party, returns this November as part of Oz Asia Festival, bringing with it twelve hours of the best local Korean food, performances, soju, games and late-night DJs – all while supporting charity.

The free entry event brings a slice of the streets of South Korea’s cultural hub, Hongdae, a thriving Seoul neighbourhood known for its lively arts scene and youthful culture.

Toriok Pop-Up | Nov 1

Toriok, a six-month ramen pop-up set to open this November by chefs Hugh Ok and Terukazu Mukai – friends, colleagues, and now co-conspirators in what they call “the pursuit of the perfect bowl.” The menu includes toripaipan, a medium-to-full-bodied ramen with a cloudy chicken broth. A spicy ramen that follows the same base, lifted with house-made chilli oil. A shoyu that offers a clear soy-seasoned broth, while the mazesoba is a soupless ramen tossed with chicken, beef mince, cooked egg, and mixed vegetables. There’s also a miso-soy vegetarian ramen for plant-based Japanophiles who still crave the umami depth.

Adelaide Italian Festival | Nov 7 – 16

The Italian Festival is back this November, bringing with it a spicy lineup of events. This immersive celebration of Italy’s rich heritage and contemporary culture promises to be bigger and better than ever. 

Food is more than on the agenda, with events scattered throughout the ten day program. From wine paired dinners, to cooking classes, and Sunday lunches, there’s an event for everyone.

99 Gang Social bids farewell to Hindley Street | Nov 9

After nearly four years of late-night burgers, tropical cocktails, 90s R&B, and weekend chaos on Hindley Street, 99 Gang Social has announced it’s entering its final stretch of trade in its current form.

From October 29th to November 9th 99 Gang Social will celebrate with what they’re calling a “Greatest Hits” menu, a nod to the venue’s signature dishes and party atmosphere that made it a favourite among Adelaide’s nocturnal crowd.

Hentley Farm Wine Dinner at Sammy’s on the Marina | Nov 13

Sammy’s on the Marina and Hentley Farm are teaming up on the 13th for delicious five course, six wine dinner. For $150 per person, indulge some fabulous wines, and a menu of fresh seafood, SA meat, and Shiraz dessert.

Tippling Club residency at Canopy Bay | Nov 19 – 29

Singapore’s Tippling Club closed at the end of 2024 after nearly 17 years of shaping the way people ate and drank in Asia. For those who ever found it in its Singapore home, tucked behind a perfectly refurbished shophouse facade on Tanjong Pagar Road, it was unforgettable.

West Thebby Cocktail Trail | Nov 22

Adelaide’s west end is about to turn into the city’s most walkable cocktail crawl when the West Thebarton Cocktail Trail returns for its second year this November! Running from 12pm right through to midnight, the free trail promises flowing drinks, delicious eats, live music, and a buzzing street party atmosphere capturing the best of Adelaide’s west side.

Multicultural Festival | Nov 24

This month Adelaide will be the backdrop to South Australia’s biggest Multicultural Festival, which is set to take place on Sunday November 24th from midday to 6pm. Now an annual event, thanks to the support of the SA Government, the event will spotlight the state’s cultural diversity.

With over 10,000 people expected to attend, you’ll be able to sample over 150 delicious dishes from around the globe. Motokichi Yukimura X Shobosho Omurice Takeover | Nov 28

A once-in-a-lifetime culinary performance is heading to Shobosho this November, as legendary Japanese chef Motokichi Yukimura brings his viral performances to Leigh Street. For $245 per person, you’ll get a front row seat to music, showmanship, plating, special never seen before theatrical touches from Chef Motokichi & Chef Tadamichi’s combined energy and flair. The menu includes 5 luxurious courses prepared by the Shobosho team plus Motokichi’s Signature Omurice prepared by either Chef Motokichi or Chef Tadamichi.
