Stroll through the vegetation at Sophie’s Patch this Easter long weekend and be educated on the value and importance of sustainable gardening.

This is the fifteenth and final open garden to be held at Sophie’s Patch, making it extra special.

If you book in advance, you can pre-purchase some goodies for a bit of a picnic amongst nature’s finest. You can get yourself a delicious Autumn Harvest Bowl with roasted seasonal veggies, Zucchini slices, roasted garlic, leek, and potato dip with a slice of sourdough bread.

After inhaling the freshly grown lunch treats, you can indulge in the actual showstopper – the cake box.

For just twelve bucks, you can get yourself a variety of cakes to share… if you are feeling generous.

Not feeling generous? No judgement here. Fill your belly!

Now it’s not a garden picnic without a cuppa’ tea or coffee. You will be able to purchase both on the day and additional drinks.

Parents, there is no need to tress about the kids. Bring them along. Sophie’s Patch will erase all your worries with the free activities they are offering to entertain the little mongrels.

Unfortunately, all furry friends must remain at home, but if you leave a few treats out for them, they will surely happily remain home.

The open garden has served Sophie’s Patch well as a tool to demonstrate and educate people on sustainable gardening practices. They create a warm community environment where everyone is welcomed. No open garden is identical, rather each invites different speakers and groups to join, amazing sculptures are built and displayed, and of course, the garden evolves with the seasons and time.

Being the final hurrah, it is not an event to be missed. Come along, have a shop in the nursery and devour the fresh veggies and cakes.
