Adelaide’s renowned cheese producer, Udder Delights, is set to spread festive cheer in Rundle Mall this Thursday with a massive Brie giveaway, just in time for the Christmas festivities.

In what’s being hailed as an early Cheesemas, Udder Delights, based in the Adelaide Hills, is bringing a taste of their famous cheese to the heart of Adelaide. From 10 am, the first 2,000 lucky visitors to Beehive Corner in Rundle Mall will receive a free wheel of their artisan Brie.

Alex Lang, the event coordinator, expressed excitement about the giveaway, saying, “We’d love to share a small gesture of Christmas spirit by handing out some free cheese just in time for Chrissy Day.”

Udder Delights, known for their exceptional range of cheeses from Blue Cheese to Brie and Camembert, is a staple in the Adelaide Hills’ culinary landscape. Their handmade artisan products are crafted at their cheese factory in Lobethal, reflecting their passion for local ingredients and traditional cheese-making methods.

This generous giveaway is a part of Udder Delights’ commitment to community and quality. Situated in the iconic region of the Adelaide Hills, the company has been a key player in the local food scene since its inception. The cheese factory, nestled in the historic Onkaparinga Woollen Mill, is where their range of beloved cheeses come to life.

Udder Delights’ journey began with the dream of Trevor and Estelle Dunford in 1995. What started as a small dairy venture quickly grew into one of Australia’s leading cheese producers. The company’s growth story, from a tiny cheese-making room to supporting a large group of local staff members, is a testament to their dedication to quality and community.

The company has also faced its share of challenges and triumphs, including the loss of co-founder Estelle Dunford and the transition of leadership to Sheree and Saul Sullivan. Today, Udder Delights continues to evolve, having recently relocated their Cheese Cellar to Grunthal Brew, a new tourism destination celebrating craft beer, gin, wine, and cheese.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this delightful event in Rundle Mall and taste a piece of South Australia’s cheese-making heritage.
