The 2010 SALA Festival July 30- August 22 is going to capture your imagination, inspire you, challenge your perception, invite conversation, and ignite your appreciation of the visual arts and it’s completely free!
With over 3,000 South Australian visual artists participating through craft, painting, ceramics, photography, design, scultpure and digital media exhibting in over 518 official metropolitan and regional wineries, cafes, galleries, restaurants, book stores, libraries, pubs to name but a few you will be touched by art.
The stories that artists will share, reflected in their work, or perhaps in person in an open studio will provide you with an experience unlike any other.
Take an hour, a day or the weekend to experience our local talent, local produce and loving art.
It all kicks off tonight with the Official Launch of the festival happening at the South Australian Art Gallery. The launch is a big night for the Adelaide Arts Community and those lucky enough to be invited will be in for a treat!
The Official SALA Festival program will be available in The Advertiser and online on the SALA Festival website from Saturday 26 June.
