Lisa Ho’s presentation of her collection for Spring Summer 2013 was again held at the aptly suited Art Gallery ofNew South Wales last week. Beautiful fashion amongst beautiful art was evident as Lisa presented yet another stunning array of the modern tailoring that she is renowned for.
Clean lines and modern shapes formed the basis of the collection, with navy, white tomato and cherry red emerging as hot colours for Spring Summer 2013. This was followed by khaki, canary yellow and emerald green in tropical prints and continued with metallic blues and the classic black and white graphic prints which ensured confidence amongst the audience, as there was a colour to suit everyone’s preference.
Yet another reminder of her talent as a master tailor, the variety of style in Lisa’s latest lineup is clear evidence that she designs pieces to suit everyone. From tailored short and skirt suits to plunging necklines, from sexy one-piece swimwear to panelled maxi skirts, from bomber jackets to cropped pants and jodphurs, there was a piece to suit every desire. One of the hottest trends for spring/summer 2013, polished and youthful wrap-front mini skirts particularly stood out as they made their way down the runway in the Art Gallery, amongst the beautiful art.
The accessories were simple, but they were definitely noticed. Killer thick-heeled finest strap sandals in black and nude finished off each outfit with slick silver, black and gold metal bands on the fingers and upper arms.
Another polished and glamourous collection, but it’s designed by Lisa Ho, so would we expect anything else?!
