A ceremony fit for a queen will be held at Mamma Carmela’s Winter Wonderland ice rink at Moseley Square, Glenelg, from 12pm on Wednesday 16 July to mark the highly anticipated crowning of the 2014 Credit Union Christmas Pageant Queen and King.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant Queen and King, who are chosen from the credit unions’ eligible Princesses and Princes, are put through their paces by a panel of celebrity judges who make the final decision.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant Queen and King will conduct a number of school and hospital visits throughout the year, playing a vital role in spreading the magic of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant and bringing the community together in the lead up to the big day.
Mamma Carmela’s ice rink will also host 30 finalists of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant Junior Royal Challenge who will all be in the running for the roles of Junior Princess and Junior Prince on the Royal Family float. The competition was open to children aged between 6 and 10 years who completed a series of tasks announced over the period of a week on Channel 9 News.
