It may still be Winter, but that hasn’t stopped the Cape Jaffa Seafood and Wine Fest committee getting excited about next year’s festival. Preparations are already under way with the event date set for Sunday 11th January 2015.
The committee have had their thinking caps on of late, brainstorming new ideas with the long term sustainability of the festival in mind. “The food and wine festival competition is fierce so it is important we keep improving our event every year to ensure the punters have a great time” says Kate Napper. The committee have several exciting new additions in store; one involves a very large crayfish so stay tuned.
Of course the foundations of the festival still remain including fabulous live entertainment to get everyone in the mood – The Bill Parton Trio will be headlining at the 2015 event. The Mount Benson and Robe wineries will be back showcasing their wares and the wine master classes will be on again. These are a fun way to socialise with your friends, taste and chat with the wine gurus, ask lots of questions and learn about perfect food & wine matching. Seafood will be in abundance along with special activities to ensure the whole family has a great day.
