There’s more to see, do and discover at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show, with tickets officially on sale from today and a jam-packed program ready to thrill South Australian families from August 30 to September 7.
Presented by Drakes, the iconic event promises even more colour, fun and free entertainment in 2025—including the return of fan-favourites and a dazzling new show-stopper lighting up the night sky.
Crowd-pleaser Bluey is back and bigger than ever, with a brand-new stage show and a huge boost in stage time.
“The Bluey stage show has been an unbelievably popular part of the Show over the past two years. Every time we add more performances, the crowds just keep growing,” said Royal Adelaide Show CEO Will Rayner. “Almost tripling the number of shows this year means even more South Australian children can experience the magic—it’s a big win for families.”
Peppa Pig will also return to the Goyder Stage following overwhelming demand, ready to charm a new generation of tiny fans.
Adding to the excitement is the debut of George the Farmer—South Australia’s beloved musical educator—who will take the stage three times daily to teach children about food, fibre and farming through song.
Fringe favourite Gluttony will also make a triumphant return to the Hamilton Stage with six new free shows in music, cabaret, and magic, adding even more sparkle to the day’s program.
In honour of 100 years at the Adelaide Showground, this year’s Show will also unveil the Southern Lights Spectacular, presented by Drakes. The Australian-first 30-minute nightly show will feature drones, pyrotechnics, lasers and special effects, telling South Australian stories in a breathtaking, narrative-driven performance.
“So extending [the fireworks] from a 10-minute display to a full 30-minute spectacular to celebrate 100 years at the Showground is incredibly exciting,” said Rayner.
Nightly entertainment will begin at 6:40pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 7:40pm on Friday and Saturday, with the Southern Lights Spectacular closing each day of the Show.
“The average Showgoer spends around 7.5 hours at the event, and with more than 100 free activities on offer—many of which are expanding this year—the Royal Adelaide Show continues to offer great value for money for South Australian families,” Rayner said.

In great news for families, children’s ticket prices remain the same as last year, with only a $1 increase for adults and concession tickets.
