In celebration of their fourth birthday, 23rd Street Distillery has launched their next limited-edition release, Red Citrus Gin.
Zesty and fresh, this summer inspired gin is full of bright citrus flavours.
Riverland Cara Cara Navels and Blood Oranges are harvested fresh for this distinctive gin, and balanced with juniper, pepper berry, coriander, cinnamon myrtle, camomile, and strawberry gum.
Like all Twenty Third Street Gins, Red Citrus uses Australian grown sugarcane as a base.
All botanicals are distributed across six botanical baskets and slow steeped for up to two days to extract every heart-warming drop of flavour.
Red Citrus Gin is best enjoyed over ice with tonic or soda, garnished with fresh orange and thyme.
For those wanting to bring out their inner mixologist, why not try a Red Citrus Sour:
- 60mL Red Citrus Gin
- 30mL Lemon Juice
- 10mL Sugar Syrup
- 1 Egg White
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Strain into a tumbler with ice. Add 3 drops of orange bitters and garnish with an orange twist.
