2KW is hosting the ultimate event for pork-lovers this Sunday

Guests will be able to experience 2KW’s sophisticated atmosphere and unparalleled city views, with this new menu created specifically for Tasting Australia.

After their sell-out Festival of Charcuterie in May this year, 2KW, one of Adelaide’s premier rooftop destinations is satisfying the city’s cravings for exquisitely-cooked meat, with their Celebration of Pork this Sunday. 

The event is part of Tasting Australia’s debut Winter series and will see 2KW’s executive chef Trent Lymn debuting a specially curated menu of all things pork. 

A dream foodie day out for pork fans, guests will be able to experience 2KW’s sophisticated rooftop atmosphere and unparalleled city views, with this exciting new menu created specifically for Tasting Australia.

A true meat feast which has been designed to utilise every part of a Black Pig, dishes available on the day will include everything from wood roasted pork belly to ham hock and pigs head croquettes, as well as 2KW’s rolled porchetta pizza and a mouth-watering pork shoulder and fennel Luganega Italian sausage. 

Guests will be able to enjoy the creative menu, which includes a variety of preparation and cooking methods to bring out the incredible variety of flavour in pork, with dishes ranging in influence from Asian and Italian to flavoursome BBQ (executive chef Trent Lymn’s favourite!) 

Not forgetting sweet-toothed guests, a sweet potato, bourbon and maple bacon donut dish has also been created for a show-stopping dessert.

Chefs will be found serving a number of the dishes on the day, available to answer any burning questions about how to recreate these incredible pork dishes at home. 

For one day only to celebrate the event, an experimental brew has been created by Adelaide Hills Cider of their Lark Whiskey Barrel Aged Apple Cider, which is the first time the cider will be on offer at 2KW. 

For non-cider fans, a curated one-off menu of wine has been carefully selected to pair beautiful with the pork feast on offer, including a 2021 Riesling from Wines by KT, and a 2019 Heartland Dolcetto/Lagrein. Those looking to sip on a refreshing beer on this brisk winter Sunday will be spoilt with pints of 2KW’s signature Winter Ale also on offer. 

This exclusive event is the perfect way to spend a wintery Sunday, enjoying an expertly prepared pork feast, with all the trimmings. 

A Celebration of Pork will run on Sunday 18 July from 12pm with tickets available at $99pp.
