2KW launches new cocktail list which tastes like summer

2KW are launching their new cocktail list inspired by the glorious season to come and have taken down their marquee to bring the rooftop to life.

With summer around the corner, 2KW are launching their new cocktail list inspired by the glorious season to come.

The marquee that is set up on the CBD bar rooftop during the colder months has come down, which 2KW marketing manager Erinn Longe says brings the rooftop to life.

“The rooftop is a beautiful open-air space with festoon lighting, loads of greenery and an amazing outlook of Adelaide,” she says.

“It’s something very special when the marquee comes down – the rooftop returns in all its summer glory.

“If the evenings are getting slightly cooler we bring out the heaters along with the furs and blankets so it’s very cosy”.

Available from this week, the new cocktail list has a range of all new offerings while two classics remain onboard. Erinn gave us a rundown of each one and the SA driven story behind them.

There’s The Alberton which is what you’ll need in hand when pondering the AFL season of missed opportunities. It’s a mix of rum, elderflower, basil and blueberry.

Our personal favourite is the Kelly Noble – A cocktail as GLAM as the lady herself. This one is a mix of whiskey, apricot brandy, apricot and rosemary.

If you’re keen for something loud, there’s the Lot 14, referencing the many exciting new things going on down at the construction site just down the road from the bar. This one has vodka, mandarin, yuzu and lemon.

There’s The Norton Summit, which is a tasty treat with as many twists and turns as a drive up Norton Summit Road. A little less sweet than the others, this cocktail has gin, celery and thyme.

The 2KW and East End Hold Up are classic favourites which remain on the line up, as well as the limoncello spritz and sunset spritz.

Along with the new cocktails, 2KW have a few new food additions. There’s the tirolese pizza with confit garlic, fior di latte, pecorino, thyme and prosciutto as well as the yellow fin tuna sashimi with fresh Tasmanian wasabi.

Head to 2KW to taste a bit of summer with new cocktail menu and enjoy the refreshed open-air space.
