$3 Adelaide Gaol Thrills This May

At the special entry price of only $3 you can explore the gaol that housed over 300,000 men and women from 1841 to 1988.

Discover prison life on a self guided tour of the cell blocks, hanging tower, gallows and prisoner graves, and take home your very own mugshot!

Catch yourself getting spooked on a mini ghost tour, watch a mock execution, and hear fascinating tales from the volunteers on hand.

Captivating history talks, firing of a militia canon and a BBQ will complete the day.

10am to 5pm
Entry fee: $3 for all visitors including children and concession

The Adelaide Gaol $3 entry day is part of the SA History Festival, which runs throughout the month of May.
