Rundle mall favourite The Logical Indian has launched ‘Samosa for a Cause’ to raise much-needed funds for those struggling with the devastating effects of COVID in India.
Running until the 19th of June customers can purchase delicious crispy samosas for just $3 each, with 100% of proceeds going to those struggling with the highly-infectious new strain and lack of medical supplies across huge regions of India.
The golden-hued, vegetable-filled pastries are a much-loved staple at Indian eateries across the world, so why not feel good about your next lunch-time craving and enjoy a purse-friendly lunch while donating to an incredible cause. Vegan samosas with potato, pea and garam masala will also be available for plant-based customers.
Owner of The Logical Indian, Mervin Joshua has experienced personal loss due to the effects of COVID in India and is passionate about the funds raised going to two charities based in Tamil Nadu, Mervin’s hometown.
100% of the proceeds from Samosa for a Cause will be donated to ‘Abundant Life Ministries’ and ‘Capstone World Research Centre’ in an effort to alleviate some of the trauma currently experienced in these areas by relief such as providing funeral expenses, beds and oxygen.
The Logical Indian has been feeding scores of hungry Adelaide patrons in Rundle Mall Plaza since 2015, serving up flavoursome curries, charcoal tandoor meats and deliciously frothy Kaapi. Mervin hopes loyal customers, hungry-passers-by and those looking for a way to help the third wave currently sweeping India will pop by the Rundle Mall store and support Samosa for a Cause.
