303 By The Sea Launches Warming Winter Menu

It’s been a seaside staple for locals and visitors alike since they opened a couple of years ago, and 303 By The Sea have proven they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Rik Fisher and Alex Smith launched this cosy brunch cafe in 2016 with an incredible menu, and season-on-season they’ve continued to deliver with insta-worthy, lip-smacking dishes.

Their new Winter menu is no different. Since it launched this month, it’s had us all wishing every day was a brunch with friends day.

The Ricotta Hotcakes are sensational. Served with maple syrup, poached apples, rhubarb and blackberries, then topped off with chocolate soil and vanilla mascarpone, it’s the perfect combo of flavour, without being over the top and sickly sweet.

My personal favourite, the Winter Greens has been on the menu before at 303, and it’s now returned by popular demand. It’s a great combo of fried beef brisket with winter greens, horseradish, poached eggs, celeriac puree and sweet potato crisps. I couldn’t get enough of this dish and it’s now my ‘go to’ for brunch.

Looking for a combo of healthy with a little sneaky indulgence? This is the dish for you. The apple crumble porridge. This is a creamy vanilla bean porridge with cinnamon and maple stewed apples, walnut crumble and creme patissiere.

Vegan? No worries, 303 has you covered. In fact, they have an entire menu for those wanting vegan options! This is their Vegan Burger, with a chickpea and vegetable burger with beetroot relish, smoked capsicum, vegan aioli, greens and veggie crisps.

The 303 Breakfast comes with Choritzo sausage, hickory smoked bacon, spiced beans, roasted tomatoes, avocado, organic sour dough and two eggs cooked however you like them.

303 By The Sea is open 7:30am to 4pm at 303 Seaview Road, Henley Beach. They don’t take bookings though, so we recommend getting in early if you want a table!
