Over 5 years, dog lover and pet photographer, Mark Trumble has raised $30,000 for the Animal Welfare League through his pet studio experiences.

His pet studio experience doubles as an opportunity as he also raises funds for the AWL with a $20.00 donation being contributed to AWL with each session.

Mark, owner of Photographyroom, has been a photographer for over 30 years and while he has shot his fair share of weddings and corporate commissions, pet portraits have always been close to his heart.

He has also been awarded Pet/Animal Photographer of the Year in SA four times by the Australian Institute of Photography.

“I love dogs, I really do!

“I realised very few photographers were photographing dogs really well and I wanted to offer something clients can’t do themselves.

Shooting all of his dog photography from his studio in Unley, Mark provides dog owners with beautiful and stylish images to display in their home.

“My goal is to create beautiful dog images and at the same time raise $5000 each year for the AWL.

“I have now raised over $30,000 in 5 ½ years through my $20 Dog Pawtrait Sessions and a couple of Coffee Table Book projects.

Sam Jacklin, General Manager Fundraising & Marketing at Animal Welfare League (AWL) of SA has worked in the animal welfare sector for over 5 years and is thrilled there are passionate people raising money for animals looking for the FUR-ever home.

“Mark is a passionate animal lover and AWL is so grateful for his ongoing support of the lost and abandoned pets of South Australia through his phenomenal fundraising efforts at he Photographyroom!

“South Australia is an animal loving state, with over 60% of us having a pet of our own – unfortunately some animals don’t have a happy and safe home but with Mark’s help we are able to offer these animals a chance to find their FUR- ever family.

“AWL is 100% community funded and relies on generous people just like Mark to provide vital services for animals in need across SA.

The photo session, normally valued at $225, is just $20, which is donated to the AWL.
