36ers re-sign Ballinger and Hill

36ers imageThe Hood Sweeney Adelaide 36ers have re-signed captain and NBL MVP runner up, 6’9”, Adam Ballinger as well as versatile swingman Brad Hill.

Ballinger has been signed for 2 years and Hill for one. Ballinger was a key piece for the 36ers who will now build the remaining roster spots around the man who is often regarded as the best power forward in the league. Ballinger is currently playing in Israel and will return to Adelaide in the next few months to team up with new coach Marty Clarke and new team mate Daniel Johnson.

Adelaide born Brad Hill is excited about teaming up with his AIS mentor Marty Clarke. Clarke intends to develop the talented prospect who has shown the capacity to dominate NBL games at times. Hill decided to stay in Adelaide despite fielding larger offers from other interstate teams.

Ballinger averaged 17 points and 5 rebounds whilst Hill increased his averages last season to 7.3 points, 3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game last season.

The Hood Sweeney Adelaide 36ers have now filled 5 of the vacant 10 roster spots.
