38 SA Restaurants Awarded Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hats In 2020

Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hats are awarded based on food alone, with the inspectors providing a score out of 20.

The Australian Good Food Guide has announced the Chef Hat recipients for 2020, with a total of 422 restaurants awarded overall.

South Australia is home to 38 of the 422, with a number of lauded restaurants receiving three Chef Hats, including Orana, Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant, Hentley Farm, Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant, and The d’Arenberg Cube Restaurant.

AGFG Chef Hats are awarded based on food alone, with the inspectors providing a score out of 20. In the history of the AGFG, a perfect score has never been submitted, with few restaurants even achieving a rating of 19.
