Whether you loved it or hated it, you can’t deny that Fifty Shades of Grey is EVERYWHERE at the moment, and it seems online sales are booming as a result. Since the release of the highly-anticipated film trailer, and now the film itself, lingerie and luxury brand purchases heated up in a huge way. Fans have raced to create a fantasy world for themselves, and Australian eBay sales climaxed as a result.
Topping the sales boom, silk robe purchases increased a whopping 309%!
2(x)IST underwear sales increased by 77%, Andrew Christian underwear sales increased by 44% and sales of grey silk ties increased by 57%.
We’re sure a lot of kinkier online purchases have gone through the roof too, but we’ll leave the rest to your imagination…
