30 MARCH – 1 APRIL – GATHERED EASTER DESIGN MARKET

Hop on down to 102 Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf, for the first Gathered Easter Design Market. Gathered describe themselves as ‘the only South Australian Collective that embraces community and strives to offer unique experiences that wholly support local business.’ With over 60 stalls to shop from over the Easter long weekend from all local sellers. There is plenty of variety to browse between including candles, flowers, homewares, jewellery, art, clothing, kid’s wares, skincare, garden accessories and more. Including some talented emerging businesses such as, Jolly Gingercat Gallery, Mud Basket Ceramics, Shikku, Infinite:Bliss, Creative Nest with Jess, and many more.

Grab a coffee, some wine and a bite to eat to enjoy from the wide range of food stalls (GF, DF & V options available). Entry costs $3 with part proceeds donated to Love Out Loud; free entry for kids. The market will be open from 12 PM – 6 PM on Saturday & Sunday, and 10 AM – 4 PM Monday. Have an egg-cellent time with the whole family and support local this Easter with Gathered for the first of many Easter Design Markets.  

28 MARCH – MOUNT PLEASANT EASTER TWILIGHT MARKET

Mount Pleasant’s Farmers Market is holding their second Twilight market for the Easter Season. Party with the whole family from late afternoon right into the evening. Support passionate local farmers and food businesses. Peruse the fresh produce and browse through the many artisanal stalls, while the kids scavenge for eggs down the Easter trail – soundtracked by live music from local artists. So, get your face painted, enter a raffle and get in the Easter spirit at the iconic Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. 

29 MARCH – 1 APRIL – MEADOWS 4 DAY EASTER FAIR

Meadows Easter Fair – an event so good that they made it four days long. The annual free event opens at 9 AM and closes at 4 PM each day and will be held at Meadows Oval. With over 150 stallholders, musicians, and entertainment items to investigate, this event is unmissable. After the success of 2023, welcoming over 21,000 people, it would be silly to not go and see what all the hype is about. 
TIP: Bring cash as they’ve had some issues with electronic payments.

31 MARCH – ADELAIDE FARMERS’ MARKET EASTER FUN

The iconic Adelaide Farmers’ Market will be open on Easter Sunday this year at the Adelaide Showgrounds for a morning of festivities. Bring the whole family down for the annual Easter Egg hunt from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Make sure to hurry in early, as numbers are strictly limited, and the eggs won’t last long. Rumour has it that the Easter Bunny will be hopping over for a surprise visit around mid-morning.

31 MARCH – THE SUBURBAN BREW: GLYNDE BREWERY & TAPROOM EASTER MARKETS

Not only is the Suburban Brew: Brewery & Taproom Glynde location open, but they’re also throwing a festive Sunday Fun-Day commencing at 12 PM. The Easter Bunny won’t be the only one with Hopps. Crack open a refreshing beer, paired with an ice cream cone from Moo’s Ice Creamery and a slice of pizza from La Mia Luna Pizza. Join them for an Easter egg hunt, local makers markets and a raffle. Bring the whole family to 26-30 Provident Avenue Glynde and make a day of it.

FRIDAY 29 MARCH – MONDAY 1 APRIL – GEMBOREE Mineral Fair

GEMBOREE is open to the public from Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday 9am -5pm, and Easter Monday 9am -12noon. Entry fee $10 children under 14 free. Family ticket 2 adult and 2 teenagers 14-18 $30

A festival of gems, minerals, crystals, fossils, and jewellery, there will be displays and dealers from across Australia. A highlight of the weekend is the display of the National Lapidary Competition entries from entrants from across Australia. Demonstrations of different lapidary and jewellery crafts will be conducted throughout the event.

In 2024, The National GEMBOREE ® is celebrating 60 Years, with South Australia hosting the event on 10 occasions since 1965.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your family to explore the beauty of jewellery, crystals gems, minerals, and fossils. There will be members of the local Gem and Mineral Clubs available to introduce you to the hobby. Food vendors will be there to feed your hunger pangs and coffee for those who would like to wander through the displays.
