Cafes and restaurants are popping up all over Adelaide and we can’t get enough, so we’ve compiled a quick list of 6 new spots that opened and where to find them!
Eleven
The incredible new dining space features individual tables, banquet seating, booths, chef’s kitchen experience seating and also a gorgeous private dining room that can be sectioned off with a curtain if you’re after a little extra luxury.
The intimate and versatile space can currently host 62 indoors under current restrictions, and a further 24 in the outdoor seating area with flexibility in bookings to host tables of two, four, six or more.
eleven will offer Contemporary Australian cuisine, inspired by French techniques. Thoughtfully designed and precisely executed dishes, with a meticulously curated wine list. The kitchen led by Dan Murphy will have a strong connection to produce, land and suppliers.

Grizzly Greenhouse
Grab a coffee, coffee table, or alcoholic beverage with your succulent: This new greenhouse has planted its roots on Waymouth Street, and it’s selling a lot more than just plants.
Customers can choose a quick bite or drink from a variety of coffees and pastries; buy tables, chairs, and colourful padded stools made by Grizzly Greenhouse; curate vertical plant walls to adorn their homes; and, grab a Mile End-brewed Grizzly beer, a cocktail, or different craft beer from the venue’s bar.

30 Acres
30 Acres is the latest venue to open in Norwood from Adelaide eatery experts Rik and Alex Fisher, who have long been supplying South Aussies with their expanding portfolio of incredible dining venues including 303 By the Sea, Kitchensmith and Oar.
Described as offering a modern Australian menu, 30 Acres is currently open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, with a view to open up dinner offerings throughout the evenings over the next couple of months, as the venue finds it feet. Rik and Alex are also keen to keep the space open late into the evenings, offering the perfect chance for customers to indulge in a mid-evening coffee and one of their decadent, in-house pastries.

FIRE x SOI 38
One of Adelaide’s best Thai restaurants, Soi 38, has relocated to a new spot on Pirie Street, but haven’t left their old nest empty.
They have now opened up a permanent space for their popular festival pop-up, Fire x Soi 38, in their previous Pulteney Street location.
While SOI 38 offers a more upscale dining option with lesser-known, Fire x Soi 38 focuses on well-known Thai food favourites.

Laughing Jack Wines
Enjoy South Australian wines, Barossa vineyard views, and the warmth of a fire in a gorgeous new venue.
Laughing Jack Wines has opened a brand-new cellar door on their Marananga property, and it’s absolutely beautiful.
The new space is modern and spacious with a ridged metal exterior and “Laughing Jack” scrolled across the front. There are bifold windows on each side that can be opened to allow fresh air to fill the room, or guests can keep them locked tight and warm up via the fireplace during the cold winter months.

Umami
Set inside a building known to locals, which was built in the 1860s and deemed the oldest building in Mannum, Umami has set up shop in the historical site that has withstood floods in past years.
Umami will be dishing up both unique and diverse dishes with owner and Head Chef Jake Ramsay saying education in cuisine is at the heart of the menu and the business.
Diners can expect to indulge in the likes of kaffir lime salt and peper squid with wasabi mayo, korean fried wings with gochujang glaze and pickled diakon, as well as cheese burger spring rolls with beef, onion, pickles, and cheese served with a special sauce.
