We sat down with the leather experts at Free @ Heart ahead of autumn/winter for some advice on how to get the most wear out of leather shorts.
On the weekend…
The best thing about wearing leather on the weekend is that no matter what you’re doing you can dress it up or down. Whether you’re catching up with friends for coffee or heading out to check out a new bar, there are plenty of ways you can wear leather shorts. For example, you can team them with your favourite denim jacket, comfy sneakers and t-shirt for a relaxed weekend look or chuck on a giant knit with thigh high boots for cosier look.
If you’re heading out, you can slip on some heels, maybe a pair of stockings if it’s cooler and swap your day look tops for something soft and silky. Voila! You’re ready for drinks, dinner or a night on the town.
As we head into summer you can also pair your black leather shorts with a simple camisole and some great sandals.
At the office…
Wanna rock your leather but still look professional? Wear your leather shorts with stockings, a sleek button up shirt or blouse to give you a more chic, corporate look.
As it gets cooler, you can even add on a nice blazer to finish the outfit off.
