Check flights to Sydney

While the tour kicks off in Melbourne, there are three Sydney shows (compared to two in Melbourne) on February 23rd, 24th and 25th, so your chances are slightly higher. But, make sure you get in quick as prices are already high and as availability decreases, prices will no doubt skyrocket.

Flights found as of 26th June

Wednesday 21st February: If you’re looking to make a little holiday out of it and go for a couple of days, Rex is offering flights from $119.
Friday 23rd February (6:25am): Currently budget airline Jetstar has one-way for $135 if you’re looking to fly the morning of the show (if you secure tickets for the 23rd).
Friday 23rd February (12:100pm – 7:40pm): there’s a few flights later in the day from Jetstar if you’re looking to get there a day or two before for your show on the 24th or 25th for a similar price ($135 – $149).
Saturday 24 February: Saturday seems to be the cheaper option at the moment for Jetstar, selling one-way tickets at various times of the day from $119.
22 – 24 February : As always, flying with Qantas is a little more pricey. From February 22nd – 25th you’re looking at $305 one way.

Check flights to Melbourne

Melbourne is your best bet as that is where the tour kicks off from, and is closer to Adelaide if you’re just planning to head over for the night or for a very short trip. While usually flights to Melbourne are much cheaper, it seems they currently comparable with Sydney (maybe slightly cheaper).

Flights found as of 26th June

Thursday February 15: if you want to head over the day before the show on the 26th, Rex is doing flights from $158.
Tuesday February 13: Alternatively, if you’re able to go for a few days and can stay with friends or family or are able to afford accomodation for the week, Rex is doing flights to Melbourne for just $79.
Wednesday 14 February (8pm): Score $99 flights to Melbourne with Jetstar before it hikes up to $189 the next day (Thursday).
Friday 16 February: As always, Qantas is a little more pricey, for one way the morning of the 16th is sitting at $249.

Book accommodation early

Like flights, accomodation in Melbourne and Sydney will also skyrocket. Have your favourite hotels bookmarked or have a look for accommodation and deals now before everyone is in the same boat and prices start to rise. It’s also prime time with the nice weather for interstate and international travellers, so Sydney and Melbourne will be busy.
