9 new venues that opened in Adelaide in November

Plenty of new venues are popping up around Adelaide all the time so we’ve put together a handy guide to make sure you don’t miss out!

It’s no secret that we love trying out new bars and eateries across the state. South Australia is blessed with incredibly fresh, high-quality produce and there is always somewhere new to visit that showcases it.

An abundance of new cafes, restaurants and bars have opened in the past month so we’ve compiled a list of the 9 you need to try!

BANDIT PIZZA AND WINE

The team behind the Prospect Neighbourhood venues Anchovy Bandit and Bottega Bandito are opening a sister pizza and wine restaurant in Hyde Park. Taking everything they know and love about pizza, wine and community to a new neighbourhood for locals to enjoy.

EBISU SUSHI

For many of us, there is a constant search for our new favourite restaurant. Whether it be a chain, a hole in the wall or something new that no one has ever heard about, the hunt is always on.

Ebisu Sushi has introduced itself to the City of Holdfast Bay hoping to serve up something a little different to its loyal customer base. Originally establishing itself in Mawson Lakes over 3 years ago, Ebisu Sushi has opened its second location on Jetty Road Glenelg.

FRANKIE

Mitolo Wines is delivering a brand new dining experience to McLaren Vale with the launch of Frankie Italo Dining & Disco Lounge (Frankie for short) – an Italian inspired diner with disco balls, gelato, and a “cucina povera” approach to its food.

Frankie is the latest instalment of Mitolo’s expansion, adding to the existing offering of the Cellar Door, Little Wolf Osteria and Mitolo weddings.

FRY CLUB

The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club. Unlike its 90s cult film namesake, we can talk about Fry Club, which was just opened in the CBD.

Fry Club has been opened by Husband and wife chef duo, Jizhe ‘Preezy’ Li and Tu Anh ‘Annie’ Ly, who were looking to give people, particularly hospitality workers, a great foodie hot spot that’s open late.

THE LOCAL CANTEEN

For many, coffee is an aid to get them through the day. For Tom Rodger, it’s a way of life. The Henley Beach local has spent the past five years fuelling the people of Brighton through his popular café, The Seller Door, but it’s through his newest venture that he’s really showing off.

In an unassuming corner store, just down the road from the hustle and bustle of Henley Square, The Local Canteen (TLC), is serving up coffee but not as you know it.

NIJU CAFE

You know it for its incredible All You Can Eat sushi but now, Japanese eatery, Nijumaru is levelling up once again with the introduction of its new all-day breakfast menu and outdoor dining garden, dubbed Niju Café.

Featuring eclectic, Japanese-centred dishes, a brekky date at Niju Cafe is far from boring and will open your eyes to a whole new way of brunching.

THE REFRESHMENT CLUB

Overlooking the bustling East End of Rundle Street, a new cocktail bar is preparing to become the CBD’s must-go venue this summer.

Situated above Two Pot Screamer, with balcony views over Rundle Street, an eclectic drinks list and nostalgic snacks all night, The Refreshment Club is the latest addition to the East End.

TERRA & SOL OUTDOOR GARDEN BAR

Popular Glenelg eatery, Terra & Sol, has just revealed its newest development – an outdoor garden bar – which is open and operating just in time for the warmer weather.

Located at the rear of the Jetty Road bar and restaurant, the modern, dreamy outdoor Garden Bar is a first for the area and will see a rotation of acoustic musicians to set the scene for any occasion.

WILLY’S

Wine bar and bottle shop, stocking everything from Tasmanian Rieslings to French Chablis, served alongside a petite menu of cheese, salumi and small plates. Open Thursday to Sunday, noon till late.
