Hentley Farm Heads To Glenelg For A Dreamy Five-Course Collaboration

It’s just what you unknowingly needed this July. A night to celebrate South Australian food and fine wine and relax amongst beachside surroundings.

One of the perks of our job is that we get to hear about all of the fabulous restaurants, wineries and events around our state. This naturally means our list grows everyday. But with so many regions and seaside spots to explore, the task to do it all becomes a little challenging (note: not impossible).

This is why we love collaborations. Especially when it means that Barossa Valley greats can head to the beach.

When we heard that The Promenade Restaurant at Stamford Grand would be collaborating with contemporary Barossa wine maker, Hentley Farm this July, we knew we needed to know more.

The five-course, shared dinner menu has been created by The Promenade’s Executive Chef, Darren Greenwood and will feature matched wine pairings from Hentley Farm.

We have been given a little sneak peek into the courses and let’s just say … it sounds pretty spectacular.

How does McLaren Vale camembert baked with pecans, rosemary and olive oil toast paired with Hentley Farm Eden Valley Riesling or chicken roulade with butternut pumpkin puree and caramelised onion paired with Hentley Farm Rosé sound? (Answer: incredible!)

The night will also include an intimate chat with Keith Hentschke, owner and founder of Hentley Farm, as he discusses their brand ethos, their wine making process and how different varietals are paired with food.

It’s bound to be a luxurious, indulgent evening that’ll set your tastebuds alight, thanks to thoughtful pairings of food and wine. We think it’s just what you unknowingly needed this July.

Tickets are $99 per person (+booking fee) and can be purchased here.
