Coco Pops’ slogan describes the popular cereal as “just like a chocolate milkshake… only crunchy!”
And now, a Brighton café is making this description a reality!
C.R.E.A.M. has announced their special dessert, Chimmy’s Coco Pops shake, in a Facebook post.
“Chimmy went and put Coco Pops in a thiccshake, and now we’re turned their slogan into reality,” the café says.
The popular spot is no stranger to exciting, chocolatey specials, such as the Easter-inspired French toast, hot cross bun ice-cream sandwich. However, they are perhaps most proud of their coffee, with the name acting as a clever double entendre for “Coffee Rules Everything Around Me.”
“I wanted the name to have some personality about it, something that meant something to me,” owner Josh Hockey told us when the café originally opened in 2015.
“I am a huge Wu-Tang fan and CREAM is their acronym/and a song title which stands for Cash Rules Everything Around Me. It was an easy way to pay homage to them by simply changing the meaning of the C.”
And while coffee may rule everything around them, we are personally ruled by Coco Pops, so we’re excited about their latest thiccshake special.
