A Day On The Water For A Great Cause

Flotilla for Kids, held annually in Port Adelaide, is a spectacular day on the water that aims to increase awareness of paediatric cancer, whilst also raising funds for Camp Quality and Australian Rotary Health.

Flotilla for Kids is now in its sixth year, and in 2011 it promises to be even more successful and fun than preceding years.  It offers both on the water activities and land based activities, and will be held on the 6th February 2011. Money raised from the event goes to Camp Quality and Australian Rotary Health, to support research of childhood cancers.

Boats of all shapes and sizes are welcome to participate in what has become one of the biggest Flotillas seen on the Port River, and indeed in South Australia.

Those who do not have a boat can still enjoy the event by heading to the wharf side at the Lighthouse in Port Adelaide.  Attendees at the Lighthouse will have the chance to mingle with players from Port Power and the premiership winning Thunderbirds, whilst also seeing the Flotilla, and enjoying a range of family entertainment.
