A floating oyster bar, live music and more is on offer at this Friday’s Coastal Festival

Local markets, culinary delights, South Aussie breweries, distilleries and wineries, art and craftsmanship and more will be on offer.

The Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, in partnership with Brindabella Sailing and The Goodside Project, is excited to announce the upcoming Adelaide Coastal Festival. Scheduled for Friday, December 15th, 2023, this event is poised to offer an unparalleled experience of music, local delicacies, and the unique charm of the coast at the scenic Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron in Outer Harbour. Best of all, the forecast is a dry 22 degrees.

Coinciding with the arrival of the Majestic Princess Cruise ship, which brings nearly 5000 passengers and crew, the festival is a timely celebration for both visitors and locals. The gates will open at 12 pm, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a day of entertainment, local craftsmanship, and culinary delights.

The festival’s lineup is a testament to its diversity and appeal:

Music to Your Ears: From 12pm to 4pm, enjoy the melodious tunes of Sarah Straschko and TIMonBASS, followed by the vibrant sounds of T-Junction from 5pm to 8 m.

Viking Yacht Charters: Set sail on a 90-minute coastal journey with Viking Charters at 2pm and 4pm. Priced at $40 per person, the ticket includes a complimentary drink, making it a voyage worth embarking on.

Brindabella Sailing’s Floating Oyster Bar: Board the iconic maxi-yacht for an oyster extravaganza, complemented by local beers, wines, and spirits. Watch out for the playful dolphins as you enjoy the sea’s bounty. Entry is free, with food and drinks available for purchase.

A Toast to Local Beverages: Indulge in a variety of drinks from esteemed wineries, breweries, and distilleries, including Howard Vineyard, Pikes Winery, Coopers Brewery and many more. Each offers a unique taste of South Australia’s rich beverage culture.

Culinary Delights: Feast on an array of foods from The Happy Black Sheep Roaming Café, Melissi Greek Donuts, and other local favorites. The festival also features a diverse range of Providores, offering everything from organic treats to artisanal snacks.

Art and Craftsmanship: Explore the creativity of local artisans and businesses. Discover unique pieces from The Goodside Project, Kate Mason, OmMADE Meet The Maker, and many others, showcasing the vibrant local art scene.
