A Food Lover’s Dream Event Comes To The CBD

When McFuzzlebutt’s Manchen and Feast on Foot combine to create an event, you better believe it will be one of the best food events Adelaide has seen

On Saturday 17th October two South Australian food entrepreneurs will join forces to bring you an epic journey of the senses in Adelaide’s first gourmet ‘Progressive Feast’. McFuzzlebutt’s Manchen and Feast on Foot have created a unique and sumptuous evening that will have your tastebuds dancing in delight as they entice you with five fantastic culinary destinations.

They have handpicked a selection of dining destinations and watering holes that will immerse you in the sights, smells and flavours of the CBD. Throughout the evening venues will provide delicious dishes, creative concoctions, craft beer from Barossa Valley Brewing and wine from Torbreck to ensure you will be well and truly replenished and refreshed.

Starting the expedition at Thrift Shop Bar, you will be treated to a cocktail and appetiser to wet your appetite and get your tongues wagging. After a short wander around the corner, you will enjoy an entree at one of Adelaide’s most visually mouth-watering restaurants; Bistro Dom.

With energy to burn, you will meander to the neighbouring precinct of Leigh St to Cos 18 Leigh which is in the heart of the thriving Adelaide dining and drinking scene running adjacent to Peel Street. A choice of chef’s selection main courses will be on offer as the belts are loosened at the half way mark.

With 3 courses complete it’s time to mosey across King William Street to 2KW where you will indulge in a delicious dessert and Adelaide’s breathtaking nightscape before the food coma kicks in. Then venture back over the city’s main thoroughfare to the quaint Russian styled bar of Bibliotheca to enjoy a cocktail by their award-winning mixologist and accompanied by local artisan creations from Chocolat by Daniela.

A very limited number of tickets will be available at $150.00 per person to attend this extravagant event, making it sought after by passionate foodies and socialites alike. Obviously encouraging responsible drinking, the event has teamed up with Uber to give you a free return chauffeur driven ride.

As both McFuzzlebutt’s Manchen and Feast on Foot are advocates for minimising food waste, $10.00 from each ticket will be given to OzHarvest SA which will go towards providing 400 meals to homeless and disadvantaged people.

This will be a night to remember that will leave you salivating for your next edible encounter.
