A glamorous night of magic and giving for Ronald McDonald House Charities Gala Ball

It’s that time of year when the glamorous, grateful, and generous-hearted people of South Australia come together to celebrate and support the phenomenal work of Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia.

On June 22, the charity will hold another of its fabled annual Gala Balls at the Adelaide Convention Centre. This promises a night of glamour and fun; this year within a stunning, magical forest soiree. The evening will provide a valuable opportunity to contribute much-needed funds to guarantee Ronald McDonald House Charities SA can continue to provide essential support services to families of sick children.

SA Executive Officer Melissa Monkhouse shared her enthusiasm for encouraging her fellow South Australians to support the vital work done by Ronald McDonald House Charities SA and pledges that this year’s event will be one of their most exciting yet.

“Our annual Gala Ball is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a fabulous night out whilst supporting the essential service provided to families with sick or injured children by Ronald McDonald House Charities SA.”

Gala Ball guests will be spoilt for choice with a three-course meal, partnered with premium wines courtesy of Tscharke Wines, Wicks Estate, and Stonehaven Wines, Champagne from Pommery, and exclusive cocktails by Threefold Distilling.

Live music act, The Cast, will keep the energy high through the night.

Attendees will also enjoy the champagne lounge adjacent to the champagne and cocktail bar. Every Pommery Champagne purchase will enter attendees into the draw to win a pair of diamond earrings generously donated by Nick Madden Jewellers.

Throughout the night, there will be many opportunities to support Ronald McDonald House Charities SA, including a fun ‘vocal’ auction, a silent auction, and a wine wall contributed by Farmers Leap.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities team provides free care and essential support services to more than 330 families annually who need to travel for their children to receive medical care, often with little notice, offering a home away from home. The House removes the burden of finding suitable and affordable accommodation. It provides a warm, welcoming place for families to stay together, offering communal social areas and spaces for siblings to play and study.

The big night is just around the corner, so grab your tickets, pull on your finest threads, and show your support for Ronald McDonald House Charities’ ongoing ability to open its doors to our community members who need it most.
