“We’re thrilled that as well as offering our unique cellar door experience, this venue also allows us to offer a range of other opportunities including wine education classes and master classes with my father John Tomich and special guest winemakers ,” he says. “The whole idea we’re trying to embrace here is that this a unique, convenient and stylish way to either have a serious look at the ever-expanding Tomich range or just a terrific place to catch up for a drink with friends.”

The Tomich family has been delighted with the significant increase in consumer support over the past year – which saw sales double – and they’re also celebrating their 2010 Tomich Hill Sauvignon Blanc recently being awarded Gold at the 2010 Adelaide Hills Wine Show.

John Tomich, credits his father’s Sunraysia Vineyard and the Tomich family’s rich history in winemaking, viticulture and farming over three generations for the recent success. “It’s a very exciting time for our family, the business is growing from strength to strength and the recent opening of the “Cellar Door In The City” is placing Tomich Wines on the map,” says John.

“I would really like to send a message to all South Australians to keep a look out for all our upcoming events as we like to keep an element of surprise with any function we do,” Marianne says.

Tomich also regularly partners with some of Adelaide’s favourite restaurants to host gourmet degustation dinners, matching Tomich wines with some of South Australia’s finest fare, with the next being held on Friday, June 17th at Mt Lofty House.
