After a long and dry live music drought, East End is replenishing your organic sound wave needs with a Live Music Crawl.

Across six Sundays starting from November 14, the East End will transform into a trail of live tunes. Guests will be able to make their way across the range of star venues that line the street.

Hosting some of SA’s most talented musicians, each venue has a set time for when their acts will be live. This means no clashes, no fomo and no worries!

BRKLYN, NOLA, The Belgium Beer Café, Mr Goodbar and The Stag Public House have come together for the music festival crawl.

Belgian Beer Café will be hosting acoustic covers from mid-day until 3pm to start the day off with ultimate chiller vibes.

Next, you can head to The Stag Public House for some groovy Alt and Folk tunes from 2pm until 5pm. After you’ve slightly quenched your thirst, it’s time to head to BRKLYN from 5pm until 8pm with Afrobeat, Latin & Jazz.

As the sun heads down, hop into Mr Goodbar from 6pm until 9pm for a second dose of Alt Folk.

For the final closing act, crawl your way to NOLA from 8pm to 11pm for a big glass of Roots / Blues / Jazz tunes.

Whether you start the day from the first act, or pop in and out throughout the afternoon, you get to choose your own live music adventure across these venues.

Function and event manager for Big Easy Group Shelley Rutgers said the ongoing event was created as a live music push.

“We’re all neighbours and are focusing hard on promoting live music and supporting this industry,” she said.

“We collaborate and support the bars around us have noticed that everyone often hosts live music anyway so we decided to come together to help each other promote live music further.

“The venues have been thinking about it for a while and we think it’s the start of something big.”

East End Live Music Crawl will run from Sunday November 14 until Sunday December 19.
