SA Regional vineyards shine at Riverland Wine Show

The 2021 Riverland Wine Show results are in- and the lineup of trophy winners are an attestation to the region’s celebrated and renowned state-of-the-art wine culture.

The Riverland Wine Show is a highlight event for the region, evaluating and assessing some of the best wines from the inland irrigated regions of Swan Hill, Murray Darling, Riverina, Rutherglen, and the Riverland.

Integral contributors of the Australian Wine Industry, these inland irrigated regions deliver and produce a variety of the state’s highest quality wines and varieties. Contributing to over 25% of Australia’s wines, the Riverland is committed to holding and growing this fundamental position.

Taking out the 2021 Riverland Wine Industry Award was Bassham Wines, a family-owned winery nestled within the picturesque lakeside town of Barmera.

However, Bassham Wines is just one of the region’s award-winning wineries, with other trophy winners including; Ricca Terra, Oxford Landing, Pete’s Pure, Calabria Family Wines, McWilliam’s Wines, St Agnes, and Temple Bruer Wines.

Bassham Wines, Riverland

With a heritage spanning five generations, Bassham Wines was also runner up in two award classes: Single Vineyard Riverland Dry Table Wine- Dry Red Table Wine, and Single Vineyard Riverland Dry Table Wine – Dry White Table Wine.
