I’m not sure where I saw it, but recently I watched a video about how millennials are choosing to adult by having plants instead of kids or pets.
Personally, I wish I’d figured that was an option sooner, as I think I’m probably better at keeping plants fabulous than I am at parenting, but hey, it doesn’t mean I’ve given up on my love for plants, or my kids for that matter.
Whether your love for plants is a full blown obsession, or one of those situations where you’re just constantly needing to replace the last lot of potted disasters you managed to kill, there’s an event coming up that you need to know about.
The Jungle Collective is throwing a Pink Plant Party this weekend and you’re all invited!
The party/sale will be packed with all the pink, red and purple plants that the Jungle Collective can find.
They will have all your Indoor Plant favourites including as many rare plants as they can source for you.
Best of all, if you dress up in block pink, you’ll grab $5 off your bill (assuming you’ll be shopping up a storm like the rest of us!) but you’ll need to spend at least $10, and it’s not applicable with other discounts.
The event will be happening 8-4pm on Saturday June 15th and 10-2pm on Sunday June 16th.
This event will be ticketed to help the organisers better manage the flow on the day and also so they know how many plants to bring you.

8-10am- VIP Early Birds
10-12noon- Morning Birds
12-2pm- Lunchtime shoppers
2-4pm- Afternoon chillers
Sunday- 10-2pm

– Paid parking for $4 for the day on weekends is just 50m away or street parking is also available.
Please note they will have a limited number of boxes and you may want to bring your own to be on the safe side.
