She may have shot to success after what was one of the most memorable Melbourne Cup wins in history, but Michelle’s story was no overnight feat. She may also be the first woman to get her hands on that coveted cup as the winner of the big race but it wasn’t all ease and glory. Does anyone else have the urge to sing ‘Sisters are doing it for themselves’?
Join Michelle as she chats to leading SA Race caller Terry McAuliffe about everything from her journey in horse racing and how she got there and, of course, about the highlight of her career so far (and probably forever), winning the 2015 Melbourne Cup.
On top of the fact that you will be meeting a superstar of her sport, you will also be able to indulge in a delicious three course lunch along with some tasty beverages.
It wouldn’t be a book launch without the lady of the hours also doing some signing. So you can get her new book “Life As I Know It” signed by Michelle herself.
