Boulangerie 113 in Goodwood has had many a customer say their shop sells some of best sourdough they’ve ever had.
Now, Boulangerie 113, is opening a second café in North Adelaide.
Boulangerie is French for bakery, with Boulangerie 113 offering excellent coffee, award-winning artisan sourdough, delicious croissants, danishes, and desserts baked fresh everyday.
The French-inspired artisan bakery specialises in, you guessed it, sourdough bread.
The new North Adelaide store comes after increased customer demand from fans across Adelaide wanting to get their hands on some of Boulangerie 113’s goodies.
Boulangerie 113’s dedicated baker and owner has been in the business for 15 years, and is in the kitchen from 4am every morning.
They also have a second chef, Vincent, who specialises in the creation of all the beautiful pastries and cakes. Vincent recently came to Australia from France, bringing with him both experience and decadent treats.
Leigh, the General Manager of the North Adelaide Boulangerie 113, tells us a must-try is the bakery’s vanilla slice. The recipe is one of Vincent’s best, and perfectly balances delicate pastry and rich vanilla cream.
Unlike the original Boulangerie 113, the new North Adelaide café will be serving up breakfast and lunch.
Guests will be able to sit down and enjoy a mesmerising selection of meals, with the bakery’s bread at the foreground.
The Goodwood store is where everything is baked due to its bigger kitchen, but all the pastries and cakes will be made fresh at the North Adelaide café for customers to enjoy.
Future plans will see Boulangerie 113 North Adelaide obtaining a liquor license to cater for cheese platters with wine on Friday and Saturday nights.
As of Thursday 12 November, Boulangerie will be open Monday to Friday 8am ’til 5:30pm, Saturday 8am ’til 4pm and Sunday 8am ’til 2:30pm.
