A New Mini Wine Festival Series Kicks Off In The City

The National Wine Centre will transform monthly to showcase two winemakers, two wineries and of course, great SA produce.

The fortnightly Uncorked events have been a popular fixture on the National Wine Centre’s social calendar since
it’s inception 10 years ago, but the Centre have just announce an exciting change to the event’s format and a brand new name!

The new offering will continue to bring cellar doors to the city but on a bigger monthly
basis, reminiscent of a mini-festival experience. With South Australia’s growing passion for food
and wine experiences, we will be showcasing two Australian wineries along with local produce as
we continue our love affair with food and wine.

City Cellar Door‘ (or CCD for short) is their new monthly food and wine celebration. CCD will offer a wine-friendly environment for the general public with a big emphasis on comparing two wine regions’ terroir and styles.

As well as this, we still aim to have an educational aspect to the events by continuing to host our
meet the maker sessions. Winemakers will inspire you with their stories and guide you through
their wine making processes in our engaging masterclasses.

Their first CCD event will be held on Friday, March 10, featuring Clare Valley’s Skillogalee and
McLaren Vale’s Hither and Yon.
