One of the greatest things about the Fringe Festival season is how it makes the rest of our state come alive. Your fave bars are filled with the sounds of unique musicians, buskers perform at every intersection, and street parties rock up where you least expect them.
Take this one for example!
The good times at NOLA will burst through the doors and fill the laneway next door with New Orleans inspired food, drink, and good tunes every Thursday to Sunday for the entire Fringe period.
There’ll be plenty of their signature fried chicken to go around, plus some of the best and most limited independent beers on tap. And they’re not afraid to flaunt their hugely diverse whisky range — we’re sure they’ll have something you haven’t tried yet.
While you’re filling your belly, let the live musicians fill your soul. There’s a line up of amazing artists waiting to entertain you every Thursday night, including Herb Armstrong — grandson of the famous New Orleans singer songwriter Louis Armstrong!
