Leigh Street Expands With Addition Of New Sushi Joint

With Adelaide’s ever-growing love for sushi, and sushi trains, there’s now a new option to get around in the CBD.

Adelaide has an obsession with any food that goes around on a little train—particularly sushi.

There are so many different types you can choose from! You can have teriyaki chicken, smoked salmon, octopus tentacles, or aburi unagi (eel).

Unfortunately though, when an entire city is frothing over a conveyer belt providing them quick and easy Japanese cuisine, there are bound to be long lines and wait times. But now, you can skip the lines at some of the other sushi joints and head straight for Kintaro Sushi, which has now opened on Leigh Street! Mind you, given Adelaide’s love to the ol’ train, it won’t take long for the lines to become a part of the set up here too.

My stomach is rumbling already.

Situated on the corner of Hindley Street and Leigh Street, Kintaro Sushi is now able to offer their sashimi, sushi and all other offerings to the heart of Adelaide. You’ll be able to dine in and watch as their delicious sushi is paraded past you, urging you to have a taste and quench your thirst for their healthy and mouth-watering meals.

Takeaway is also available for those on the go, and with their extensive menu, we’re sure you’ll find something that tickles your tastebuds!

Never fear if you’re not in the city area very often, they also have stores in Norwood, Tea Tree Plaza, Elizabeth, Brickworks and Colonnades. Click here for a quick squiz at their menu.

Their new city store is open everyday from 11:00am – 9:00pm.
