Local Meat Masters Join Forces With Oliver’s Taranga For A Night Of Beefy Reds

Be the first to try the best wine that Oliver’s Taranga has to offer at a luxurious five-course gourmet launch event!

Oliver’s Taranga are launching the 2014 vintage of their iconic M53 Shiraz, their top-shelf mature red that’s the ideal choice to accompany a perfect steak dinner. Sensing this, they’ve cleverly partnered with Hutt St meat masters A Hereford Beefstouw for the release of their most exclusive wine.

This is quite an event, as Oliver’s Taranga reserves the M53 designation only for their best single-block Shiraz, and only when they’re satisfied that the quality of the fruit meets the standards to go into this wine. It doesn’t happen very often, and the last M53 release was from the famous 2010 vintage seen by winemakers as one of the best years ever in South Australia. So you know the upcoming 2014 release is going to be something special.

While the M53 is clearly the star of the show, the five-course gourmet dinner comes accompanied by a flight of Oliver’s Taranga wines with each stage; like the cured beef and kingfish starters are paired with Oliver’s traditional Fiano, or the dry-aged mutton in red wine jus with their delightful Tempranillo or Grenache. The highly anticipated M53 is suitably accompanied by Hereford’s own biggest hitter, a beef fillet with mushroom, confit garlic and duck-fat-roasted potatoes. We can’t wait to consummate this blessed union between delicious beef and a powerful red.

If others reading the event poster are experiencing even a fraction of the general mouth watering going on at our office, tickets for this exclusive event are going to go fast. Make sure you nab yours quickly through the Oliver’s Taranga M53 launch FB event page.

Being as this is the release celebration, the M53 is not yet available for purchase, but once it is you’ll be to source the big red deliciousness through Oliver’s Taranga’s webshop and their McLaren cellar door.
