‘A Night Of Fashion’, presented by Honda with Attitude Magazine, is Adelaide’s inaugural showcase for Adelaide’s most affluent designers, Australia’s iconic lines and internationally esteemed labels.
The event will take place on the 22nd of September at the Elder Wing of the Art Gallery of South Australia.
Acclaimed Australian designers, including Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore will preview their latest collections.
The international labels will be a selection from the store The New Guard including Alexander Wang, Acne, Isabel Marant, Dries Van Notten and a designer vintage collection by Claire Inc.
Guests will also get the opportunity to see local designers Paolo Sebastian, Jaimie Sortino and Couture + Love + Madness and more, show off their latest lines and assert themselves on the fashion stage.
Chambord cocktails and other delights from local produce, including Cibo, Adelaide Hills Cider, Vale Ale and Fox Creek wines can be enjoyed in the gallery gardens before the event and during the after party, where some of Adelaide’s finest DJ’s will play.
Advertising and Marketing Manager for Rip It Up Publishing & Attitude Magazine, Charlotte Chambers says the event will help highlight what we have to brag about in Adelaide.
“This will be the first time the historic Elder Wing of the Art Gallery of South Australia has been used to house a fashion show. It will draw attention to the beauty of Adelaide's art collection to a new audience,” says Chambers.
A participant in the show, designer Jaimie Sortino says the event is also a key opportunity for local designers to gain recognition on an international level.
“It’s that opportunity to showcase my work and vision to people on a local level but also a national level, an event like this opens so many doors of opportunity,” says Sortino.
A celebration of Australia’s finest labels and Adelaide’s acclaimed fashion designers and produce, this surely will be a night to remember.
