A Paella in the Park sangria Sunday session is on its way

“Paella in the Park” is a family-friendly eating extravaganza hosted by the Victoria Park Social Club and La Dolce Vita Catering.

Who doesn’t love a good Sunday session?

With DJs, sangria, massive pans of paella, and bocce, this Spanish-style mini-festival is the perfect way to end your weekend.

The food offerings also include churros, gelati, and tapas plates from La Dolce Vita catering, the guys who brought you Caribbean BBQ in the Hills and bring you delicious doughy pizzas and seafood platters on the regular. So it’s bound to be tasty!

At the walk-in Paella in the Park event, expect croquettes, patatas bravas, local marinated vegetables, and imported cheeses to accompany the offerings of sangria, wine, and beer.

“Paella in the Park” will take place on March 28 from 12 – 6pm in Victoria Park.

The event is hosted by Victoria Park Social Club, will take place in its beautiful venue, a rebranded version of The Stables. The warehouse-like brick and wood space has plenty of windows and opens outdoors. Guests are invited to bring picnic rugs and sit outside.

The manager of Victoria Park Social Club, Rob Paglia, says it’s a great location for your Sunday afternoon.

“It’s basically a big open space with lots of licenced grass seating areas,” Paglia says. “It’s perfect for a Spanish-style festival in the park.”

The event is also family-friendly and has a special kids menu.

“There’s plenty of communal seating and space for the kids to play around,” Paglia says.
