In a historic premises located in the Adelaide Hills between the villages of Stirling and Aldgate lies Patch Kitchen and Garden.
The building has had a rich history since 1885, when it was Stirling’s original post office and general store. Now a culinary delight serving delicious seasonal goodness, Patch has continued to be a local favourite.
And it extended with a brand new space, right next door a few months ago.
Owner Ben Barnett named the new space ‘Left Field’ due to the versatility it offers to guests. With light streaming through the French windows and an acoustic board on one side of the room (perfect for those with hearing impairment), the set up of Left Field is uniquely beautiful.
Starting from Friday November 1, Patch will start their weekly Friday night pop-up dinners in Left Field.
Starting off and carrying on for two months is their first chosen cuisine, Italian fare!
From Friday November 1, get keen for a two/three course dinner for damn good value. On the cards is complimentary canapés, a glass of wine and an Italian varietals tasting by Adelaide Hills winery, Main and Cherry.
This is followed with a two course dinner for $50 or three courses for $65.
Pick from a salmon carpaccio, a caponata roasted eggplant & peppers in a rich tomato sauce or a pan-fried potato gnocchi to start with.
Then for mains, you have three options; the pasta al pesto, the osso bucco slowly braised beef cheeks in a rich sauce of tomato or a pan-roasted salmon with roasted fennel. Sounds delectable!
And for your eyes we have a few examples of their gorgeous dishes.
There are limited places, so this event is bookings only, and it’s first in!
