A new clothing store is set to become a new hotspot on The Parade, and it has a brilliant twist.
Setting themselves aside from many other clothing stores, Yours + Mine offers people the chance to rent a ‘rack’ for a weekly fee.
Renters are then able to pocket 100% of the sales from their items, and the shoppers can opt for more sustainable practices.
Yours + Mine is the brainchild of mother and daughter duo, Kerry & Phoebe Southwell.
Phoebe recently graduated as a fashion stylist from the Whitehouse of Design in Melbourne, giving customers fashion expertise on the shop floor.
Kerry believes Yours + Mine comes at the perfect time for sellers and buyers alike.
“Now more than ever, people are looking at innovative ways to firstly make some extra money and secondly, save some money”.
Ahead of their opening on Tuesday 28th July, Kerry and Phoebe are offering specials for rack renters.
For a limited time, customers can purchase two weeks rent on a small rack for $50 (normally $79) and a large rack for $80 (normally $99). Small racks can hold up to 40 items of clothing, whilst larger racks can fit up to 65.
