Market Corner is all about that positive Sunday vibe. A boho market by the beach combines hand-picked market stalls, live music, fashion, produce, delish eats and drinks. The market will call West Beach home every second Sunday, starting February 14.
Market Corner promises to deliver more than just market stalls as market goers are presented with unique treasures from local creatives and delicious food & wine from favourite foodies and vines. Nestle in for the day on a comfy cushion or rug next to the Bohemian inspired bar and secure your spot to enjoy live acoustic sounds whilst soaking up the beachside atmosphere of The West.
It’s all thanks to owners Kristy Langdon and Adriana Michael. “Both Kristy and I have a strong passion for innovative local brands, beautifully designed spaces and recognised an opportunity for community events in The West. Our vision is to use our experience to bring open air market style shopping together with a place to gather for a relaxed picnic in the sun with friends” says, Adriana.
The Market Corner concept was created with the intention of providing a platform for talented local emerging designers, creatives and collectors to showcase their wares whilst connecting and collaborating in a positive, unique environment. The Market Corner will be a favourite hangout for locals and visitors of all ages.
“We are committed to helping our stallholders develop their businesses by providing creative and business direction and influencing the markets with our professional experience and design aesthetic” says, Kristy. Market Corner will showcase a variety of creative wares from Adelaide and beyond with an opportunity for regional stallholders to exhibit.
“Adriana and I have a strong connection to The West and its beachside suburbs having spent all of our childhood in the area so are naturally thrilled to have the support of The City of Charles Sturt and The Adelaide Shores as we bring something new to South Australia creating a strong sense of place” says Kristy.
Market Corner will be held Sunday FEB 14th // FEB 28th // MAR 13th // 11am-7pm.
