A Special Thank You, A New Krispy Kreme Store And Some Family Fun

Celebrating some true South Aussie heroes and getting excited about donuts. The perfect combination!

The word ‘hero’ seems to be thrown around a lot these days. And too often it is used in the wrong context and in reference to those who may not necessarily deserve the title. But in this case, these heroes totally deserve the title, and the little treat…

The amazing CFS, SES MFS, SAPOL and Ambulances SA Services who put in their all and often risk their lives to save others can be taken for granted. So, this Wednesday 9 December they, along with their families, will receive a special little thank you.

The new OTR Port Wakefield Road will be hosting the Emergency Service Workers as they preview the new store. The workers and their families will enjoy free food and refreshments from Oporto, Wok in a Box, Krispy Kreme and Brumby’s. Yum!

“We want to thank and acknowledge the incredible work of these groups who tirelessly protect and inspire the South Australian Community every day,” said Michaela Webster, OTR Chief Operating Officer.

Along with the delicious food, there will also be entertainment including bungee trampolines, face painting,
Krispy Kreme donut decorating and a DJ.

On a tasty side note, this event also coincides with the opening of the new Krispy Kreme Drive Thru at the OTR Port Wakefield Road. Oh yes, let us at them! The store opens to the public on Thursday 10 December.

We love a heartwarming story and if anyone deserves a little break from it all, it is definitely these hard working heroes.
