A sunflower market is coming and we couldn’t be more excited.
This Tuesday, December 28th the Sunflower markets are coming to the stunning Sunflower Field at Shimmering Pines Farm in Tarlee, located at the gateway to the Clare Valley Tourism Region.
Visitors are invited to go and take a walk through the beaming flowers, take a sunflower selfie, browse through the market stalls and enjoy the food and music.
There will be two sessions held on Tuesday 28 December 2021 – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Tickets are available for $10 (12 and over) and $5 for children aged between 5 and 11 (free for babies/toddlers 0-4 years).
The Sunflower Market Day welcomes guests of all ages to explore the fields and step into nature.
With the first patch of sunflowers, in the field, blooming early this year, the bright and happy sunflowers are in their peak photo readiness.
The markets will kick off the beginning of the annual Sunflower Festival which runs across the blooming season until mid-January 2022.
The Sunflower Festival experiences include Farm Open Days, Watercolours in the Field, Sunset Sessions and the final event of the season will be a Pick Your Own Sunflower Day.
Shimmering Pines Farm will also be offering private mini photoshoots with partnering photographers.
The festival will run from late December 2021 to mid-January 2022 and specific dates will be listed on the website as it will depend on when the Sunflowers Bloom.
Shimmering Pines Farm advises all guests to wear ‘farm mindful’ clothing and footwear, including masks as the Sunflower Farm is a covid-safe venue.
