A pop-up taco and cocktail bar – need we say more?
The beloved holiday park, Big4 Renmark, has teamed up with two outstanding food and beverage vendors to bring holiday-goers and Riverland locals the pop-up bar of our dreams – slinging tasty tacos and margaritas riverside.
While the park is known for its thrill-seeking activities, gorgeous gum trees and comfortable riverfront campgrounds, Big4 Renmark is bringing the heat this summer, alongside popular street food van, El Gringo’s Mexican Street Food and the iconic Renmark Club.
Launching over the Christmas break, the pop-up cocktail bar and taco night has been brought back by popular demand to Big4 Renmark, with upcoming events on January 11 and 12, from 5pm to 8.30pm.
Treat yourself to a taco or two from El Gringo’s. Slinging plant-based and gluten-free tacos, from the likes of crispy mushroom, chipotle cauliflower or banana blossom, El Gringo’s is serving up Mexican-inspired street food that is delicious and nutritious.
And don’t let those labels deter you – these tacos are seriously tasty!
For lucky locals, their van will be set up at the holiday park right through the month of January.
El Gringo’s has cemented itself as the taco truck of the moment, popping up at several bustling venues, including the Riverland’s Woolshed Brewery and the ever-popular Fork on the Road events.
Chow down on loaded nachos or an OG chilli bowl, and wash your worries away with cocktails provided by the mixologist gurus from the Renmark Club.
Sip away on refreshing Margaritas or a Paloma that packs a punch, and tickle your tastebuds on a fizzy gin spritz, topped with elderflower syrup, lime juice, soda and dehydrated blood orange.
Sticking to Dry January? Try out the fruity mocktails mixed on-site, including a no-alcohol spin on a classic tequila sunrise and a watermelon high – brimming with watermelon syrup, lemon juice and lemonade.
Stretching a stunning 1km of the Murray Riverfront, Big4 Renmark is the perfect place to get away to and enjoy the sunshine this summer – and their food truck and pop-up cocktail bars make it that much better.
